Privacy Policy

Arrowknot ("the App", "we", "us", "our") is developed and published as an independent mobile game. This Privacy Policy describes our practices regarding information when you use the Arrowknot application on Android devices.

By downloading and using Arrowknot, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App.

The only data that exists is game state data (your level progress, stars earned, coins, and settings). This data:

• Is stored locally on your device only
• Is never transmitted to any server
• Is never shared with any third party
• Is never sold or used for advertising

We explicitly do not collect any of the following:

• ✓ Name or identity
• ✓ Email address
• ✓ Phone number
• ✓ Location data (GPS)
• ✓ Device identifiers (IMEI, GAID)
• ✓ IP address
• ✓ Camera or microphone
• ✓ Contacts or messages
• ✓ Financial information
• ✓ Usage analytics
• ✓ Crash reports sent externally
• ✓ Advertising identifiers

Arrowknot saves your game data to your device's local storage (localStorage via the Android WebView). This includes:

• Level completion status and star ratings
• In-game coin balance
• Daily streak progress
• Sound and settings preferences
• Purchased cosmetic items (palettes, backgrounds)
• Time attack best scores

This data stays on your device at all times. Uninstalling the App will permanently delete all locally stored game data. We have no way to recover it for you, as we never receive a copy.

Arrowknot uses the following third-party service for visual assets:

Google Fonts
The app loads the Bricolage Grotesque and JetBrains Mono typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com) on first launch when an internet connection is available. This request is made by your device directly to Google's servers. Google may log the request as part of their standard server logs. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details.

Arrowknot does not integrate any of the following:

• Advertising SDKs (AdMob, Meta Audience Network, etc.)
• Analytics SDKs (Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, etc.)
• Crash-reporting SDKs (Crashlytics, Sentry, etc.)
• Social login (Google, Facebook, Apple, etc.)
• In-app purchase services

Arrowknot requests the minimum permissions required to function:

• INTERNET — Required by the Android WebView component to load Google Fonts on first launch. No other network requests are made.
• ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — Allows the app to check connectivity before attempting to load web fonts, preventing unnecessary timeout delays.

The App does not request access to camera, microphone, contacts, location, phone, storage, or any other sensitive permissions.

Because we collect no personal information whatsoever, Arrowknot complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations worldwide. There is no registration, no account creation, and no communication features of any kind.

Parents and guardians can allow their children to use this App with confidence that no personal data is collected, shared, or transmitted.

Because we do not collect or store any personal data on our servers, traditional data-subject requests (access, correction, deletion) do not apply in the conventional sense. Specifically:

• Right to Access: All your data already lives on your own device — you have complete access at all times.
• Right to Deletion: Uninstalling the App from your device permanently deletes all associated game data.
• Right to Portability: You can back up your device using Android's built-in backup tools to transfer game data between devices.
• GDPR / CCPA Compliance: Since no personal data is collected or processed by us, there is nothing to disclose or delete on our end.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, if the changes are material, provide a notice within the App or on the Play Store listing.

Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
